PURPOSE: To make absorption possible even in directions other than vertical or horizontal direction by uniformly placing the 1st wave absorbers, which have a conical shape and can handle insertion from selected electric field directions on the base section.
CONSTITUTION: A wave absorber 1b has a conical shape and by being placed in a uniform arrangement on a base section 1a, the wave absorber 1b is always in a perpendicular direction to an incident wave regardless of the direction of the incident electric field. Further, the height of the above-mentioned conical, wave absorber 1b differs depending on the frequency but is kept close to 1/4λ. In this way, since the shape of the wave absorber 1 which consists of the base section 1a and the wave absorber 1b is conical and these units are uniformly placed on the base section, electric waves can be absorbed in any incident direction of the electric field and it is possible to reduce unnecessary reflections on the wave absorber.
