Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To not only attenuate a wave energy to prevent waves from getting over but also maintain a structure such as a breakwater tenaciously.SOLUTION: A wave force attenuation block 10 is formed to be nearly a rectangular parallelepiped having a front face 11, top face 12, rear face 13, underside 14, right surface 15, and left surface 16. Additionally, a vertical width direction intermediate part 11a in the front face 11, a back-and-forth width direction intermediate part 12a in the top face 12, a vertical width direction intermediate part 13a in the rear face 13, and a back-and-forth width direction intermediate part 14a in the underside 14 are formed in recessed cylindrical surface shapes, respectively. Thereby, a first protrusion portion 17a, second protrusion portion 17b, third protrusion portion 17c, and fourth protrusion portion 17d are formed at a corner part between the front face 11 and the top face 12, corner part between the top face 12 and the rear face 13, corner part between the rear face 13 and the underside 14, and corner part between the underside 14 and the front face 11, respectively.
