Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a weather strip which has prevented the penetration of rainwater into the inner part, aside from being excellent in the appearance.
CONSTITUTION: A weather strip 10 is installed in space between a door panel 12 and a windowpane 18. This weather strip 10 is composed of having a molding apart 20, a lip part 30 and a clip 40. This molding part 20 is suited to the form of a recess 16 of a panel part 14 and it is made up of having a thick wall decorative part 22 covering an upper edge 15 of the door panel 12 and a holding part 24 extending from this thick wall decorative part 22 in parallel with a flange apart 13 and the windowpane 18. An end face of the thick wall decorative part 22 is closed, whereby any possible penetration of rainwater or the like into a follow part 23 is prevented from occurring. The lip part 20 30 is separated from the molding part 20 and it is molded from softer material that on the molding apart 20. The lip part 30 is attached to the flange part 13 and the holding apart 24 in use of the clip part 40, and this mounting part is covered with the thick wall decorative part 22.
