In a welding equipment 11, a supporting cylinder 21 is arranged on the outer periphery of the handrail pipe P1 along an axial center O2 parallel to the axial center O1 of the pipe P1. The supporting cylinder 21 is held freely attachably and detachably on the handrail pipe P1 by means of a detachable mechanism 22. A welding torch 23, which performs welding for the handrail pipe P1 and the groove C of the core P2, is made freely turnable along the outer circumferential surface of the handrail pipe P1 on the supporting cylinder 21 by means of a torch turning mechanism 24, and the position of the welding torch 23 is made adjustable by means of a torch position adjusting mechanism 25, enabling a copying movement along the outer circumferential surface of the groove C.
