To provide a wet type brake of simple structure that can be easily installed.
A housing 1 is formed in a cylindrical form having a bottom surface 1a. In the housing 1, a disc spring 21 of a circular form, a parking piston 11, a reaction receiving member 2, a service piston 10, a disc 9, a pressure receiving member 3, etc., are arranged in order from the side of the bottom surface 1a to be housed in it. At an end part of the housing 1 on the opposite side to the bottom surface 1a, a circular cover 4 is fixed. The disc spring 21 energizes the parking piston 11 toward the service piston 10. The bottom surface 1a of the housing 1 composes a support surface for supporting the disc spring 21. The reaction receiving member 2 functions as a common reaction receiving member for the service piston 10 and the parking piston 11.
