Title:
WHEEL SPEED SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3959250
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel speed sensor allowing assembling of each part without requiring time and effort in the resin-sealing of the wheel speed sensor, and constituted so that a stress is hardly applied to the connecting part between a detecting element and a terminal, and the connection between the detecting element and the terminal is thus hardly released.
SOLUTION: In this wheel speed sensor 30, a holder 40 having the detecting element 32 arranged at an end and holding the terminal 36 connected to the detecting element 32 is resin-sealed in the state where a wire 38 is connected to the terminal 36. The holder 40 comprises a detecting element fitting part 48 for fitting the detecting element 32 and a terminal fitting part 54 for fitting the terminal 36. The detecting element fitting part 48 and the terminal fitting part 54 arranged so that the lead 34 of the detecting element 32 abuts on or gets close to a prescribed portion 64 of the terminal 36 when the detecting element 32 and the terminal 36 are fitted thereto.
