PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wholly aromatic polyamide modified cross-section fiber good in paralleling property.SOLUTION: A wholly aromatic polyamide fiber is made to be a modified cross-section fiber having a special cross-sectional shape. Specifically, a cross-section of the wholly aromatic polyamide fiber is made to have a shape in which at least two or more circles having same diameters are neighboring in a straight line or overlapping partially, and be an all aromatic polyamide modified cross-section fiber satisfying the formula (1) and having a variation coefficient of a single fiber fineness of 9.0% or less.
