Abstract:

To provide a wire cover and an electric connector capable of preventing deformation and breakage of a hood.

A lever type connector is formed so that a hood 25 of a wire cover 20 projects in a slanting direction. In the hood 25, a proximal portion 25a close to a main part 21 of the cover and a distal portion 25b separated from the main part 21 of the cover are different in thickness, and the proximal portion 25a is thicker than the distal portion 25b. Furthermore, a plurality of lightening holes 51 can be formed on the inner periphery of the proximal portion 25a. In addition, the lightening holes 51 are contiguously arranged along the curve (the circumferential direction) of the hood 25 so that a rib 52 can be formed between the adjacent lightening holes 51.
