Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a single cutter to cut even an ACSR cable (steel reinforced- aluminum cable) or the like, attain improvement of workability.
SOLUTION: This wire cutter 1 is formed by pivotally mounting a pair of right/left cutter main units 4 having cutter edges 2 in a tip end part and handle mounting parts 3 in base end part able to relatively turn by a short shaft 5, the cutter edge 2 is provided with an arc-shaped part 2A on the side of the shaft 5 and a linear-shaped part 2B continued from the part 2A to be extended to a tip end. Here, in an edge point in the arc-shaped part 2A of the cutter edge 2, a cylindrical surface 8 is provided, and by making it serve as a shear edge point, even a hard wire of steel core or the like can be cut.
