Abstract:
To shorten a communication unavailable period as compared with the case where a frequency is switched, when a vehicle station including an antenna with directivity switches a communicating ground station.SOLUTION: A vehicle station 1 for communicating with a plurality of ground stations 2 includes: first de-spreading units 19and 20that de-spread a reception signal of a vehicle antenna unit 3 having directivity with a transmission spreading code of a prior communication ground station; second de-spreading units 19and 20that de-spread with a transmission spreading code of a post ground station; a communication appropriateness determination unit 21 that determines reception appropriateness of a signal transmitted by the prior communication ground station based on a code correlation value; and first spreading units 9 and 10 that spread the transmission signal with a reception spreading code of the prior communication ground station. When the communication appropriateness determination unit 21 determines that reception is inappropriate, the spreading code is changed so that the first de-spreading units 19and 20de-spread with the transmission de-spreading code of the post communication ground station, the second de-spreading units 19and 20de-spread with the transmission de-spreading code of a ground station that communicates next to the post communication ground station, and the first spreading units 9and 10spread with a reception spreading code of the post communication ground station.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
