Abstract:
To provide a wireless data communication system and a method.
The system includes a database, a controller, and a plurality of nodes. The database is capable of storing information. The controller is capable of facilitating an access to the database. The controller also detects a new node in a network and, if necessary, is capable of transmitting a network protocol to the new node to enable the new node to participate in the network. The information in the database may represent medical-related information. The nodes may include fixed nodes and portable nodes. The network may represent a mesh network.
