To carry out the execution of works easily even when the length size of wooden shafts is dispersed by inserting the end sections of the two wooden shafts into a recessed-groove sectional-shaped connecting fitting respectively and adjusting the length of the execution of works and fixing the wooden shafts.
A connecting fitting 1 consisting of a cylindrical simulant, in which at least three surfaces are formed in tabular sections 2-4, and having a recessed-groove sectional shape is prepared. Positioning holes 8, 8 are disposed on at least one surface of the tabular sections 2-4, and guide pieces 10, 13 for inserting the end sections of wooden shafts, pawl sections 11 for fitting the recessed grooves of the wooden shafts and a flange section 12 for fixing the wooden shafts are formed at least one end section of the tabular sections 2-4. The end sections of the two wooden shafts 7 are inserted into the connecting fitting 1 respectively, and a tool is put in from the positioning hole 8 and the end sections of the wooden shafts 7 are displaced by wrenching operation, and the length of the execution of works is adjusted. The pawl sections 11 are inserted and fitted into the recessed grooves of the wooden shafts 7, and the wooden shafts are fixed by board screws or staples by the flange section 12.
