Abstract:
PURPOSE: To restrict the generation of scratch or the like on a work to the minimum by forming a roller, of which axis is inclined, of the material softer than a work.
CONSTITUTION: A roller 5, of which axis is inclined, is made of the material softer than a work 23. At the time of moving a grinding wheel 26 toward the work 23 so as to grind a desired position of a work core end, a driving roller 12 is directly driven by a motor 17 and gears 18, 13 coupled with the motor 17 and a rear side driven roller 5 as a presser roller 5c having elasticity is made to elastically pressure-contact with the work 23 so as to improve the following property of the driven roller 5 to the driving roller 12 and the work 23. With this structure, change of the peripheral velocity due to the generation of unevenness of turning of the driving roller 12 and the driven roller 5 is eliminated. As a result, the generation of slip between both the rollers 5, 12 and the work 23 is prevented, and the anxiety that the work 23 is locally and seriously damaged is eliminated.
