PURPOSE: To allow movement of even a heavy work while positioned with high accuracy by floating a turn table supporting a chuck device for holding a work by means of an air foot device and then turning the turn table by a predetermined angle through a drive gear.
CONSTITUTION: A work(motor) 1 is mounted at a predetermined position on a movable fork 4 of a delivery device 3 disposed in a work delivery station 2. A turn table 35 supporting a chuck device for holding the work 1 rotates while being floated by pressurized air ejected from an air foot device 37 when the turn table 35 is driven by a rotation controller 36. The turn table 35 can be rotated by a predetermined angle by meshing the gears fixed thereto and the drive gears being driven by a rotary driver 36 disposed movably in the lateral direction on a machine base 34. This constitution allows movement of a heavy work 1 while positioning with high accuracy.
