To provide a workpiece assembling device capable of positioning a workpiece in a part to be assembled by a simple configuration.
A side air bag mounting device assembles a side air bag having a pin passing-through hole in the side air bag assembling part having a pin insertion hole by holding the side air bag. This side air bag mounting device is provided with a hand 50 having a hand body 51 and a plurality of workpiece holding devices 52 provided in the hand body 51, a robot arm 41 for changing attitude of the hand 50 and a position in a three-dimensional space, and a controller for controlling them. The workpiece holding device 52 is provided with a cylindrical cylinder 53, a pin member 55 provided slidably in the cylinder 53, having a distal end having a pin shape, and having a boss part 551 having magnetic force and formed on a terminal side, and a cylinder supporting part 54 provided in the hand body 51 and supporting the cylinder 53 to float freely.
