To provide a wrinkle stretch method for a web and its device capable of stretching wrinkle and shrinkage of the web without attaching indentation flaw, with less variation with age of an expander roll.
The wrinkle stretch device 1A for the web is provided with a rotation charging roll 4 formed with a charging part 43 and a non-charging part 42 on a surface with a predetermined gap; a rotation contact roll 3 contacted with the charging roll 4, formed with a dielectric body layer 32 on a surface and formed with a pattern of charging and non-charging on the surface by the charging part 43 and the non-charging part 42; and a discharging roll 5 contacted with the contact roll 3 and discharging the pattern of the charging and the non-charging formed on the surface of the contact roll 3. Optional charging patten is formed on the surface of the web F by contacting the wide and long web F with the surface of the contact roll 3 and the web F is stretched in the width direction by electrostatic attraction force to stretch the wrinkle of the web.
