Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic music composition device, a method, and a program which are capable of automatically generating a melody having natural contrast between a motif and a hook-line melody.SOLUTION: A melody generation unit 105 sequentially shifts a pitch of each note constituting melody data determined for automatic generation for a predetermined range. Then, the melody generation unit 105 sequentially refers to a plurality of note connection rules stored in a rule DB 104 for each pitch shift, calculates a degree of matching of the melody data with respect to chord progression data specified by a chord progression selection unit 102 or the like, and outputs the melody data pitch-shifted at a highest degree of matching, as an automatically generated melody 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
