Abstract:
To provide a ball screw which can secure desired load bearing capability while making nut compact in a shaft direction in the end cap type ball screw.SOLUTION: In a ball screw 1 which allows a ball 7 to circulate and displace a series of ball passages having a spiral main passage 13 formed with a male screw groove 11 provided on a screw shaft 2 and a female screw groove 12 provided on a nut main body 4, a return passage 14 which penetrates the nut main body 4 in a shaft direction on the radial direction outer side of the main passage 13 along with relative rotation of the screw shaft 2 and the nut 3, a first connection path 15 which connects the main passage 13 and one end of the return passage 14, and a second connection path which connects the main passage 13 and the other end of the return passage, a first end cap 5 which forms the first connection path 15 and a second end cap 6 which forms a second connection path 16 are arranged on positions respectively overlapped with the female groove 12 in the shaft direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
