Abstract:
To provide a balloon catheter and a catheter system capable of suppressing buckling deformation of an insertion part in an outer tube while suppressing twisting of a balloon.SOLUTION: An outer tube 24 of a balloon catheter 12 of a catheter system 10 includes an outer tube proximal end part 36 and an outer tube tip part 38 extending from a tip of the outer tube proximal end part 36 in a tip direction. A rotation regulation part 78 provided to an inner tube 62 slides in a proximal end side lumen 40 in the tip direction when push-in force is transmitted from the inner tube 62 to a balloon 22. A tip side inner surface 44 is positioned inward in a radial direction of the outer tube 24 as compared with a proximal end side inner surface 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
