PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion field measurement method which can further accurately measure a gas temperature in a high-temperature/high-soot dust area while reducing a frequency of maintenance, an operation method of a boiler, a combustion field measurement device and the boiler.SOLUTION: A combustion field measurement method includes: a process for acquiring a frequency band in which absorption by vapor becomes most dominant when radiating a microwave to a mixture gas which is mixed with a plurality of gases including vapor; a microwave radiation receiving process for radiating the microwave to the mixture gas and receiving it; an attenuation rate detection process for detecting an attenuation rate of the microwave in the frequency band in which the absorption by vapor becomes most dominant on the basis of the received microwave; and a temperature acquisition part for acquiring a temperature of the mixture gas from the detected attenuation rate on the basis of a correlation between a pre-acquired attenuation rate of the microwave by vapor and the temperature of the mixture gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
