Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid that a maximum output of an engine is unnecessarily lowered.SOLUTION: A control device of an internal combustion engine comprises: an ignition system including an ignition coil and an energy supply circuit for supplying electrical energy to the ignition coil; an EGR passage for making an exhaust gas flow back to an intake passage from the exhaust passage; an operation state changing part for changing a target air-fuel ratio to an air-fuel ratio which is lower than a lean air-fuel ratio when the target air-fuel ratio is the lean air-fuel ratio when a misfire or an ignition abnormality occurs in a cylinder, and changing an operation state of the internal combustion engine by stopping external EGR control when the external EGR control is performed; and a fuel injection stopping part for continuing fuel injection in the operation state of the internal combustion engine after the change when the misfire or the ignition abnormality does not occur by the change of the operation state of the internal combustion engine, and stopping the fuel injection when the misfire or the ignition abnormality occurs in the operation state of the internal combustion engine after the change.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
