Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the circuit scale when reading the electric signal of each pixel on the basis of a read mode.SOLUTION: Based on a read mode of the electric signal of each pixel constituting a screen, an address generation circuit determines a pixel in a predetermined row of a screen as a pixel to be read of an electric signal. Based on a predetermined row corresponding to a pixel determined by the address generation circuit, a selection circuit generates a column control line selection signal indicating whether or not to select each column control line of a plurality of column control lines for outputting the electric signal of a pixel in each column of a screen in unit of column. The technique is applicable to a solid state image pick-up device.
