Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting insert which suppresses breakage during cutting, and a tip replaceable cutting tool with use of the same.SOLUTION: In a cutting insert which is detachably attached to a tip of a tool body which rotates around a tool axis, a mounting hole which penetrates in one direction is provided, and a fixation member having a shank and a lock part positioned at one end of the shank is inserted in the mounting hole and is fixed to a tool body. The mounting hole is provided with a taper part which reduces a diameter of the mounting hole along an insertion direction of the fixation member, and the taper part has a polishing part at least a part of a portion thereof contacting the lock part of the fixation member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
