Abstract:
To provide a material containing fine cellulose fibers having excellent dispersion stability in organic solvents, suitable for compounding with a plastic material and giving a composite material having high mechanical strength.SOLUTION: A reactant fiber is an intermediate in a method for producing a fine cellulose fiber dispersion and has a cationic surfactant adsorbed to fine cellulose fibers having a carboxyl group content of 0.1-3 mmol/g. The cationic surfactant is a first-tertiary amine compound, and forms an ion bond to a carboxyl group at C6 position of a cellulose constitutional unit in the fine cellulose fiber.SELECTED DRAWING: None
