Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device with a small internal resistance and a large energy density.SOLUTION: An electrode is manufactured by using a carbon material. In a pore distribution obtained according to BJH method on the carbon material, which is plotted by taking a pore diameter D for an abscissa, and a derivative ΔV/ΔD of a pore volume V per unit mass or volume with respect to the pore diameter D for an ordinate, a maximum of the derivative ΔV/ΔD of the pore volume within a range of the pore diameter D of 10-100 nm is larger than a maximum of the derivative ΔV/ΔD within a range of the pore diameter D of 2-10 nm. According to the pore distribution obtained according to BJH method, a volume per unit mass of the electrode, which is occupied by pores having a pore diameter within a range of 100-3000 nm is 0.07 mL/g or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
