Abstract:
To improve the torque of an engine by injecting water heated by a heat-up part into a combustion chamber.SOLUTION: A combustion chamber structure for an engine 1 includes a combustion chamber 11, an ignition device (a spark plug 65) arranged on a ceiling part 111 of the combustion chamber, and a water injection device 4 for injecting water through an injection hole 432 facing to the inside of the combustion chamber into the combustion chamber. The water injection device injects the water when the combustion chamber is in a compression stroke. The water injection part has a heat-up part 42 for heating water with the heat of a heating device (a heat pipe 44), and the heat-up part has a plurality of passages 45 where water flows. The plurality of passages are formed in the heat-up part at its mounting side where the heating device is mounted. On the counter mounting side of the heat-up part, a non-formation part 46 is provided where no passage is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
