Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance durability by lowering the temperature of elastic rubber even if engine heat is transferred to the elastic rubber.
CONSTITUTION: A liquid-sealing engine mount 1 comprises a main body case 2, a rubber body 3 and a diaphragm 8, etc., with a liquid L sealed in the space surrounded by them. The space is partitioned by a partition member 14 into a main liquid chamber 15 and an auxiliary liquid chamber 16. An engine-side fitting 4 is connected to the rubber body 3 and mounted on the engine side. The flat portion 5 and the cylindrical portion 6 of the engine-side fitting 4 are exposed to the portion of the main liquid chamber 15 which is nearer the engine than the partition member 14. The portion 17a of the orifice 17 of the partition member 14 which is on the side of the main liquid chamber 15 is oriented toward the flat portion 5 and the cylindrical portion 6. Apart of the main body case 2 is projected outward and the space 19 between this projecting portion 2a and the partition member 14 constitutes at least part of the orifice 17.
