To realize a light-emitting device that suppresses the spread of light.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device includes a base having a bottom, a first semiconductor laser element disposed on the bottom of the base, and a first light reflecting member disposed on the bottom of the base and having a light reflecting surface for reflecting light emitted from the first semiconductor laser element, and the light reflecting surface of the first light reflecting member has a curved shape in which the divergence angle of the light reflected on the light reflection surface is made smaller than the divergence angle of the light applied to the light reflection surface for the main part light emitted from the first semiconductor laser element, and the divergence angle of the light reflected by the light reflecting surface is not made to 0 degrees.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
