Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a composition effective for suppressing the drying of a water-based ball point ink solvent from the tip end of an ink-holding tube in a hot environment, thereby keeping the fluidity of the ink in writing and getting excellent aging stability.
CONSTITUTION: This composition for preventing the drying of a water-based ink for ball point pen is produced by using at least a low-volatile and/or nonvolatile phthalic acid ester as a base and adding a filler and a styrene- butadiene elastomer to the base.
