To provide a liquid discharge head configured so that sizes of a substrate and an actuator can be reduced.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head according to an embodiment comprises a substrate, an actuator, a plurality of individual electrodes and a common electrode. The actuator, provided in the substrate, is formed long in one direction. The actuator has a first inclined surface extending along a longitudinal direction, a second inclined surface extending along the longitudinal direction, which is larger in inclination angle than the first inclined surface, and a plurality of pressure chambers extending in a transverse direction. The individual electrodes are formed on the substrate and on the first inclined surface. The plurality of individual electrodes drive the plurality of pressure chambers respectively. The common electrode is formed on the substrate and on the second inclined surface, which drives the plurality of pressure chambers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
