Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging system capable of generating a slice image more accurately than ever before when a plurality of slice surfaces of a subject are imaged simultaneously.SOLUTION: An MRI system 100 includes: an image generation unit 250 for irradiating a subject with a radio wave of a first resonance frequency and generating an image 21 of a first slice surface; an image generation unit 252 for irradiating the subject with a radio wave of a second resonance frequency and generating an image 22 of a second slice surface; an image generation unit 254 for irradiating the subject with a radio wave including the radio wave of an electromagnetic wave of the first resonance frequency and the radio wave of the second resonance frequency, and generating an image 25 so that the first and second slice surfaces do not overlap with each other; and a correction unit for correcting an image 23 used at the time of kernel estimation based on relationships between image information on the first slice surface in the image 25 and image information on the image 21, and correcting an image 24 used at the time of kernel estimation based on relationships between image information on the second slice surface in the image 25 and image information on the image 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
