Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a fluophor emitting red color light efficiently when excited by a blue light and a manufacturing method capable of controlling particle size in a wide range while maintaining internal quantum efficiency at a certain level to a fluophor represented by the general formula AMF:Mn.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a fluophor for manufacturing a fluophor represented by the general formula AMF:Mn. The element A is an alkali metal element and the element M is one or more kind of tetravalent metal element. It has a solution manufacturing process for manufacturing a hydrofluoric acid solution where the element A, the element M and Mn are dissolved in hydrofluoric acid, a dispersion manufacturing process for adding at least one of AMF:Mn particles and AMFparticles to a solution as a seed crystal to manufacture a dispersion and a deposition process for depositing the general formula AMF:Mn on a surface of the seed crystal by reducing a temperature of the dispersion after the dispersion manufacturing process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
