Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure having a satisfactory joint strength without providing restriction to a steel plate component and welding workability and to provide a manufacturing method of the joint structure.SOLUTION: A joint structure 100 includes: a first member 11 made of high tension steel; a second member 13 which is superimposed on the first member 11 and is made of high tension steel; an insertion member 15 made of steel which is retained in such a state as to be inserted toward a superimposition surface from an opposite surface of the superimposition surface between the first member 11 and the second member 13, of the second member 13; and a welded part 19 formed by melting the insertion member 15 formed at an insertion tip of the insertion member 15 and the first member 11. A carbon equivalent Ceq(N1) of the insertion member is set to be lower than a carbon equivalent Ceq(M2) of the second member. Therein, carbon equivalent Ceq is defined by the following relation: Ceq=C+Si/30+Mn/20+2P+4S (C, Si, Mn, P, S represent content (mass%) of each element and, when such elements are not contained, the content is set as 0).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
