Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance productivity and reduce cost by making time for production shorter by producing calcium titanate (CaTiO) from ilmenite (FeTiO) without passing through titanium oxide (TiO).SOLUTION: Calcium titanate is produced through a first step of generating hydroxide of titanium and iron from ilmenite (FeTiO), a second step of separating iron from a product generated in the first step, a third step of adding a calcium source to the product generated in the step 2 and a fourth step of burning the product generated in the third step to generate calcium titanate (CaTiO).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
