Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce vanadium dioxide fine particles efficiently realizing thermochromic characteristics by an industrially applicable simple method.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing vanadium dioxide fine particles in which the ratio of the particles with a particle diameter of 10 to 150 nm is 90 mass% or more, using a solid including vanadium dioxide as a material, and at least including the following step A and step B: the step A where a solid including vanadium dioxide is made into particle diameters of 1 to 100 nm by subjecting a solid including vanadium dioxide to wet pulverization; and the step B where the fine particles obtained in the step A are fired in the temperature range of 350 to 550°C in an inert gas atmosphere to regulate the particle dimeter of the vanadium dioxide fine particles to 10 to 150 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
