Abstract:
To provide a power control system capable of suppressing a purchase of power from an external system during a time period when power price is high by appropriately predicting a power generation amount of a solar power generation device and a traveling schedule of a vehicle.SOLUTION: The power control system for controlling a supply of power to a house including a solar cell panel 1 includes: a power consumption prediction unit 62 for predicting a power consumption amount of the house; a generated power prediction unit 63 for predicting an amount of power generated by the solar cell panel; a travel schedule prediction unit 64 for predicting a travel schedule of an electric vehicle 4 equipped with a vehicle-mounted storage battery 41 connected to the house; and a charging/discharging control unit 61 for controlling charge and discharge of the vehicle-mounted storage battery. The charging/discharging control unit determines a charge amount for charging the vehicle-mounted storage battery from the external system power based on predictions of the power consumption prediction unit, the generated power prediction unit, and the travel schedule prediction unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
