Abstract:
To provide a power conversion device which can reduce distortion of input current to be caused by overmodulation.SOLUTION: A power conversion device comprises: a converter; and a control part. The converter has: a plurality of diodes connected with a three-phase AC power supply; and a plurality of switch elements connected in parallel with the diodes, performs DC conversion of voltage of the AC power supply and boosts the voltage by switching. The control part performs sine-wave modulation of the switching of the converter so that DC voltage output by the converter becomes a target value, and input currents to the converter become sine waves, respectively, and controls the target value so that distortion of the input currents to the converter become minimum in an operation area of the converter in which the sine-wave modulation becomes a state of overmodulation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
