Title:
METHOD OF QUICKLY DETECTING FOOD POISONING CAUSATIVE BACTERIA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2018042483
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect, within 40 minutes, three species of bacteria Salmonella, Enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli, and Shigella by improving the efficiency of detection using PCR with a fluorescent probe thereby avoiding the generation of false positives caused by nonspecific gene amplification, and to clearly detect all species of bacteria if a plurality of food poisoning causative bacteria are present.SOLUTION: A method detects food poisoning causative bacteria by simultaneously carrying out PCR reactions to detect three species of bacteria Salmonella, Enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli, and Shigella in a sample and is characterized by allowing the different species to be distinguished by a difference in the fluorescent wavelengths of the fluorescent probes.SELECTED DRAWING: None
