Abstract:

To provide novel radical polymerizable silane coupling agents having a cyclic compound skeleton, and medical/dental curable compounds containing the same.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a silane coupling agent having a urethane bond and a polymerizable group represented by the following formula, in which A is HC=CH-, HC=C(CH)-, etc.; B is -C(O)-O-, etc.; Rand Rare alkylene of C2-C100; Z is a group comprising one or more benzene rings or cyclohexane rings; Ris methyl, ethyl, etc.; Ris alkyl or phenyl of C1-C16 or halogen atom and when n is 0, at least one or more halogen atoms are bonded to Si, a is an integer of 1-6 and n is an integer of 0-3. Also disclosed is an inorganic filler having a surface treated with the silane coupling agent. Further disclosed is a medical/dental curable composition comprising the inorganic filler and a radical polymerizable monomer and at least one of a polymerization initiator and a polymerization accelerator.SELECTED DRAWING: None
