Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium conveyance device capable of preventing conveyance failure of a recording medium and an image blur, and an image formation apparatus having the same.SOLUTION: A recording medium conveyance device 76 is arranged between a secondary transfer nip N1 and a fixation nip N2. A conveyance member 5 of the recording medium conveyance device 76 has a surface on the recording medium conveyance side which is movable from the position on a straight line connecting the secondary transfer nip N1 and the fixation nip N2 to the position on the lower side. A space where a recording medium P can be bent is secured with the movement of the recording medium conveyance device 76 in a direction vertical to the conveyance direction of the recording medium P, and an image blur generated by pushing the recording medium P into the fixation nip N2 by the recording medium conveyance device 76 is prevented. After the tip of the recording medium P enters the fixation nip N2, the recording medium P is conveyed by a fixation device 6, and no conveyance failure is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
