Abstract:
The utility model provides a mold and a resin part. A plate-shaped light guide component suitable for being used in a mode of emitting light from a main surface and a side surface can be obtained. Themold (100) forms a molding space (102) corresponding to a plate-shaped resin member having two main surfaces facing away from each other and a plurality of side surfaces connecting the two main surfaces. The mold has: a first surface (112) corresponding to a first one of the side surfaces; a second surface (114) corresponding to the first main surface, and a third surface (122) corresponding to the second main surface; and a gate (124) that is connected to the first surface and that injects molten resin into the molding space. The dimension (124H) of the gate in the direction in which the second surface and the third surface are arranged is not more than half of the dimension (112H) of the first surface in the direction in the region (112R) in which the gate extends.
