Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll expander capable of effectively improving corrosion resistance of an expansion chamber to which steam is introduced as a fluid to be expanded, and slidability.SOLUTION: A steam expander system 1 includes a scroll expander 3, and a steam generation device 2 supplying the steam including ammonia and/or volatile amine to the scroll expander 3. In the scroll expander 3, an orbiting scroll 30 and a fixed scroll 50 are composed of Al-Si-Mg-Mn-based aluminium alloy including Si of 8.0-11.0 mass%, Mg of 0.30-0.6 mass%, and Mn of 0.30-0.6 mass%, and the aluminium alloy having a content of Cu of 0.5 mass% or less, and a content of Fe of 0.7 mass% or less is used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
