Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic tire which, while improving rolling resistance, suppresses deterioration of wet traction performance.SOLUTION: Provided is a tire having, on a tread part 20, a circumferential fine major groove 21 extending in a tire circumferential direction, in which the circumferential fine major groove 21 comprises: a fine groove part 211 opening to a tread surface 200 of the tread part; and a widening part 212 whose groove bottom has a groove width which is more widened than the fine groove part 211. A groove width ratio (W2/W1) of a groove width W1 of the fine groove part 211 and a maximum groove width W2 of the widening part 212 is within a range of 1.5≤(W2/W1)≤4.0, and when the circumferential fine major groove 21 is divided into two at a depth position of 50% of a maximum groove depth of the circumferential fine major groove 21, a cross-sectional area ratio (A2/A1) of a groove bottom side cross-sectional area A2 on a tire meridian cross section and a groove opening side cross-sectional area A1 is within 1.2≤(A2/A1)≤4.0, and the cross-sectional area ratio (A2/A1) is changed along the tire circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
