Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a torque transmission medium having a high flowability and capable of avoiding the problem of particle sedimentation (or particle drop), high in the coefficient of viscosity and restricting a use over a wide temperature range.SOLUTION: A torque transmission medium comprises in a gas: first particles having an average particle diameter of 1 μm or more and 30 μm or less; and second particles with an average particle diameter of 3 nm or more and 200 nm or less adhered to the surfaces of the first particles. The first particles are magnetic particles, and the ratio of the second particles to the sum of the first particles and the second particles is 0.4 mass% or more to 30 mass% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
