Abstract:
To provide a vehicle control system that can prevent an inexperienced driver from limiting a preventive safety function and improves the safety of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle control system 1 comprises a driving skill immaturity determination unit 5. When accepting an input of setting of a preventive safety function from a driver input acquisition unit 4 through operation by a driver, the driving skill immaturity determination unit 5 determines whether or not driving skills of the driver are immature on the basis of personal information for the driver from a personal information management unit 3, and if it is determined that the driving skills are immature, does not reflect an OFF setting from the driver input acquisition unit 4 in a preventive safety function control unit 7 . In this way, an ON state is maintained during driving by an inexperienced driver without setting the preventive safety function to OFF and the preventive safety function is actuated when the vehicle gets into a danger, so that the safety of the vehicle can be secured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
