Abstract:
To provide a roof carrier for a vehicle which can displace an angle with respect to a longitudinal direction of a stationary rail member, is excellent in durability, and can pull down a movable rail member in lateral direction of the vehicle even if the movable rail member is in any position of the longitudinal direction of the stationary rail member.SOLUTION: The roof carrier for the vehicle includes a stationary rail member 10 which is fixed to a roof 2 of a vehicle 1 and a movable rail member 20 which is displaced with respect to the stationary rail member 10, and fixes a holder 30 on one end of the stationary rail member 10 in a manner capable of turning at a prescribed angle with respect to the stationary rail member 10, and provides a slide member 40 on an upper surface of the holder 30. The movable rail member 20 is displaced in a longitudinal direction X of the stationary rail member 10 by sliding along a slide surface of the slide member 40, and at the same time an angle Y with respect to the longitudinal direction X of the stationary rail member 10 is displaced by turning of the holder 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
