Abstract:
In an absorbent article (1) having an upper layer core (31) and a lower layer core (32), the lower layer core (32) has a groove (36) which is indented in the thickness direction and the length of which is in a prescribed direction, the lower layer core (32) has a groove region where the groove (36) is provided and a non-groove region where the groove (36) is not provided, at least a part of the groove region is provided in a region where the upper layer core (31) and lower layer core (32) overlap when viewed from the thickness direction, and the average density of a highly absorbent polymer (34) on a skin-side section of the groove region is lower than the average density of a highly absorbent polymer (34) on a skin-side section of the non-groove region.
