Abstract:

The present invention pertains to an additive for a positive electrode of an electrochemical device including a porous carbon material which has a specific surface area of 2500-3300 m2/g, as measured by the BET method, and in which the minimum value for pore radius frequency distribution, represented by formula 1 below, is 1 or more when the pore radius is measured as being in the range of 0.5-2.5 nm by a water-vapor adsorption method.
