Abstract:
A display means and a display system safely usable even in cold and snow falling areas and providing an excellent visibility to a display portion; the display means, wherein a plurality of optical fibers are buried in the display portion thereof so that the diffused ends of light are exposed according to a specified pattern and a laser beam is led into the optical fibers to produce an optical display pattern formed of the plurality of diffused ends of light in the display portion and, by utilizing that a heat energy is given to a radiated body by connecting the plurality of optical fibers radiating the laser beam to the radiated body, such heating and thermally insulating members can be provided on the display means such as a sign, whereby the visibility can be increased and the problems of adhesion of snow, snow fall, icing, and freezing can be eliminated.
