Abstract:
Provided is an application of ITF2357 in the preparation of a drug for preventing and treating coronaviruses. Disclosed are the use of ITF2357 in the preparation of a drug for preventing and treating coronaviruses, and the use of ITF2357 or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, isotopes, stereoisomers, mixtures of stereoisomers, tautomers, esters, amides, or prodrugs thereof in the preparation of a drug for preventing and/or treating diseases caused by coronaviruses. The coronaviruses are the novel coronaviruses SARS-Cov-2, SARS-CoV, HCoV 229E, NL63, OC43, HKU1, and MERS-CoV. The diseases caused by coronaviruses are pneumonia, or complications thereof, caused by SARS-CoV-2, SARS-COV, HCoV 229E, NNL 63, OC 43, HKU1, or MERS-COV. For the first time, ITF2357 has been confirmed to have an inhibitory effect on novel coronavirus, is low in half effective concentration, and has significant potential.
